Ordering Multiples of One Reward:
We have been getting requests to order multiple rewards. Kickstarter only allows project creators to create pledge packages that donât have multiple sets, ie we canât do a two-pack, five-pack etc. The Hydration Pack comes with two (2) FlexiPODs because they are an essential set to the Glider system. If you want to order more than one pack, here is how to do it: We recommend that you choose one reward, and then if you want two (2) of the same reward double the pledge amount (if you want three (3) then triple the amount of the pledge, etc). We will not be able to deduct shipping from ordering multiples (sorry…we just wonât, but you are still getting a killer deal by ordering multiples). If you order multiples of a particular pledge, we need you to click on the comments when checking out and let us know you are ordering multiples (ie. say something like, âIâm ordering two (2) of the âEquipping Pack-US ONLYâ with my pledge of $350.00â or, âIâm ordering three (3) of the âHydration Pack-INTERNATIONAL ONLYâ with my pledge of $195.00â (that is $65.00 x 3) PLEASE NOTE:: If there are no comments and/or if the pledge amount doesnât include the double/triple/etc amount exactly (including full shipping double/triple/etc) , then we will only send out the package that you pledge for. Can I drink Rain Water collected from the Glider? :
YES! The question is not whether or not rain water is potable (drinkable), the question is really about the other contaminants or pollutants in the water. We recommend treating rain water like you would water from a river. It is always best to boil and/or filter water prior to consumption on the trail. Unfortunately, because of atmospheric pollution, not all rainwater is created equal. Rainwater collected in a more urban environment would necessarily need more filtering than pure rainwater from say the Rocky Mountain wilderness. Will I be able to pick my hammock color if I order the ADVENTURER PACK or LIFE CHANGER PACK?
YES - you will be able to choose your hammock color if you order the Adventurer Pack or Life Changer Pack (the only rewards that come with a hammock). At the end of the campaign, you will receive a survey from us (through Kickstarter) and you will be able to choose your color there. How do I add the Storm Doors to my pledge?
If you want to add the new Storm Doors to your reward/package, all you need to do is add $50.00 to your pledge (you can login and make that adjustment to your pledge). Everyone will receive a ‘survey’ from Kickstarter after the campaign is finished, and you will indicate on the survey that you added $50.00 for Storm Doors - we will know what the $50.00 is for :). What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
